The Borg's impressed once again when clinching to first place, with a weight of 3.36kilos with a mixture of fish, varying from small mullets to parrotfish.
This match was fished in Birgu Toqba with all doubles teams full of belief in making it to the top classification...

3 dedicated Kingfishers will be participating for the very first time in the Grauvell Valencia Open Sea angling tournament.
Amongst these is Stefan Borg winner of several local leagues and federation matches
Also particpating in this tournament is Malta's 2011 federation...

Next doubles match nr.2 will be held on 13th May 2012 in Vittoriosa Creek (toqba Birgu)
Due to an unforseen problem that this match was scheduled on mother's day we will be fishing an hour earlier to end up at 10.00am
So the fishing time will be meeting 5.00am start fishing...

Match 1 of the federation league was held in Manoel Island on Sunday 15th April 2012.
First match was very quiet in terms of fish caught as the first place was won by Neville Vassallo of Kingfisher Sport Fishing Association with 1.5kgs of fish.
