Alexander Koukias & Gabriel Sanpei win their first Doubles League together.

On registration day of this year's Doubles league we had a new team setup Alexander Koukias & Gabriel Sanpei. Koukias is one of our promising anglers whilst Gabriel has quite a good knowledge and expertise on sports fishing. 

In 3 matches out of 4 that they have competed they always managed to place on the podium. There first match was marshalling duties whilst in match 2 they immediately shown they are going to seriously challenge for the top spots, under torrential rain for most of the match and high gusts of wind they placed second overall missing the top spot by just 126grms. On the third match at Fra Ben they just ran away with victory which positioned them in the top spot of the classification. On the 4th match at Zonqor Point they again managed to finish on the podium for the third time consecutively but this time on the lowest step of the podium. On the 5th match at Kalkara creek they managed to hold of the 4th Overall position of the match so that they can clinch the title and be crowned this year's KSFA Colmic Doubles League Winners.
