KSFA Doubles Match 4 Report - John & Joe make the most between the super yachts
KSFA doubles match 4 necessitated a change of venue due to very rough seas and we would heartily like to thank the Grand Harbour Marina management for issuing us with a permit on such short notice. This venue had not been fished in matches for a while, and thing started off pretty well in the early morning, where all 9 teams could be seen hooking fish.
At the end of the competition all fish were weighed and released back in the sea. John Attard & Joe Schembri (1.960kgs) won this match with a good mix of mullet and bottom fish. In second place Clayton Camilleri & Mario Marlow (1.830kgs)with a good amount of damsel fish and bottom fish too. On the last place of the Top3 anglers we find Fortune Calafato and James Gilson (1.580Kgs). Colmic boy, Fortune Calafato managed a nice mullet of 690grms that at the moment is the biggest fish of the league.
Section winners were Jonathan Vella and Il Gower Joseph Ellul and Jonathan Aquilina and Jason Saliba.
For the final Match it's going to be a really close call since Top 5 Teams are just seperated with 1 point between them.
